Go Welland Valley!

Not one, not two, but three Welland Valley Cycling Club members are riding in the National Hill Climb Championship this year.  Congratulations to Ruby Isaac, Kamila Leska and Richard Latmer who have all got places to  ride up “The Struggle”  in just a weeks time  on Sunday 29th October. The Struggle is a 2.67 mile hill just outside Ambleside. The ascent is   1175ft  with an average gradient of 8% and a maximum gradient of 24% .

We wish them all every success (even if we don’t envy them)  and look forward to hearing how they all got on.

If you love the picture you can order your own copy of the print here: THE STRUGGLE PRINT | 100climbs  with a percentage from each sale going to the Great North Air Ambulance.
