Reliability Ride 2019

38 hardy souls braved a challenging February morning for Welland Valley CC’s Reliability Ride.

Driving rain and low temperatures, and a brisk westerly, did not deter the riders, who tackled either a challenging 33 mile, or a very challenging 68 mile course around the Leicestershire and Northamptonshire countryside, coming back to the HQ at Lubenham Village for well earned tea and cakes.

Thanks to all the riders who supported the event, and to Ann Barnett, John Welsford, Phil Rayner and George Barnett and Pauline Hardwick for volunteering during the day.

Chris Dainty, who rode the 68 miles, gave a considered and precise description of the conditions, but it is best not repeated here!
