A message from the coordinator of the WVCC Macmillan Harborough Sportive, Kevin Mills…
“A huge thank you to everyone involved in the WVCC Macmillan Harborough Sportive. The event was a great success with 325 riders taking part. We haven’t got a final figure for funds raised just yet, but we will beat last year’s figure of £10,000. The weather was fantastic, and the roads particularly quiet (thanks to Meghan and Harry maybe?)
A BIG thank you goes to…
Steve Alden, Sophie Alexander, Dean Barnett, Mike Vybrial, Bill Barrie, Chris Dainty, Hans Van Neirop, Jo-Anne Rigby, Eunice Loney and Alastair Chapman, for helping to organise the event.
… All those who helped on the day; Dean Barnett, Linda Toszek, Bill Barrie, Chris Dainty, Jon Durnin, John Welsford, Helen Talbot, Stefano Caprioli, Andrew Ayears, Charlie Simpson, George Barnett, Helene Broughton, Debbie and Nick Fenwick, Andrew Weatherby, Dave Birch, Mark Morris, Tom Blake, Tracy Norris and her team from Barclays, Eunice Loney and her team from Macmillan, Mick Davies from D3Racetec, The Mount Family from Grange Farm, all the riders from WVCC who rode the routes (what a fantastic turn out!) and Robbo from Perth in Oz.
… And lastly, to all the riders who supported the event and who took part.
THANK YOU ALL!
Phew, that’s a long list, if I’ve accidentally missed anyone – sorry and thanks again for your help and support.” – Kevin Mills, WVCC, Event Organiser.
Well done Kevin for pulling together a superb event for bike riders!
