Whizz Kids Misterton Madness 2026
Hi Whizz Kids, we’re back in action this coming Saturday, October 10th for our Misterton Madness cyclo-cross race which also stands as the next round of the Alden’s Whizz Kids Racing League. The club has a long history racing at Misterton Hall courtesy of Mrs Craven and this weekend sees two other races with the British Masters racing on Saturday afternoon, followed by the Leicestershire League round 2 on Sunday. The Whizz Kids event on Saturday will hopefully use part of Sunday’s LCXL course, so an early chance to get sight of the Terraine.
With the masters racing at 1:00pm we will delay the start of Whizz Kids for 30 minutes and we’ll now start our session at 2:30pm and this will consist of some short races for the young riders. We’re also planning to have a parents or generation race at the end, so bring your bikes if you want to take part. This includes any youth development riders.
Booking for the event is now open, registered riders please check Email and/or WhatsApp.
Misterton Hall is on the A4304 about 600m east of M1 Junction 20, just outside Lutterworth. There will be signs out
Don’t forget your bike, helmet and snacks. Weather forecast looks pretty good too. See you at Misterton!
