This weekend is all about Round 2 of the Leicestershire Cyclocross League, promoted by Welland Valley CC. Led by Kevin Mills, WVCC’s mudlarks are developing have developed a cracking course for Sunday 11 October’s race.
With the kind permission of Mrs H. Craven, who has supported racing here for more than 35 years, the stunning Misterton Hall estate is a firm favourite and a must-ride venue on every cyclo-cross rider’s bucket list. The course offers a bit of everything : fast paths, open meadows, gravel sections and demanding loam tracks. It is also a great place to watch, with plenty of opportunities to see the racing unfold.
