Round Robin 8 announced, and series standings update
Good news! Round 8 of the Round Robin will be a joint Ratae RC and WVCC event on the Tour of the Langtons Course on 31 August. This follows Ratae RC’s issue with their Gilmorton course which lead to the cancellation of their original rounds in July.
First rider off at 9 am, HQ is Church Langton Community Centre.
As a result Round Robin is now an eight round series, with best five scores counting in the open and female categories.

Talking of standings, check out the updated standings below (click on the links)
- In the Open category, James Moore (Welland Valley CC) leads from and Adam Wells (Rockingham Forest Wheelers and Alex Whitmore (Ratae RC)
- In the female category, Milly Pinnock (Welland Valley CC) leads from Laoise Bennis (Welland Valley CC) and Mea Moore (Welland Valley CC)
- So far in the Club Competition, Welland Valley CC lead, followed by Rockingham Forest Wheelers, and Ratae RC
In each category the fastest rider scores 60, 2nd scores 55, 3rd 51, and then 48, 46, 44, 42, 40, 39, 38, etc. In the event of a league table evens in a points tie the rider with the lowest overall time will win.
The Club competition uses the same scoring for the fastest 4 overall riders from each Round Robin club for each round, plus the fastest female from each club.
