TT result – Hans and Jamie take the silver

It was an early start for the riders and volunteers for the Kibworth 25 mile TT this morning (Sunday 1st June).  Conditions were windy, but Hans Van Nierop bounced back after a turbulent FNSS race on Friday evening light up the course again, going quicker than he did on the same course in April with a time of 58.10, taking the win and the prestigious Armstrong Cup.

Hot on his heals was Jamie Kershaw, going under the magic hour for the first time with 59:54, which was the fastest time on handicap taking the Hunter Cup.

Ed Tarelli and Matt Plews were the next fastest, separated by only six seconds and renewing a friendly rivalry that goes back over many seasons.

Special shout out to Whizz Kid Charlie, competing in his first 25 mile TT.  Great job Charlie, you are only going to get faster!

Well done all.
