TT Event changes, Interclub and a bonus Kibworth 10: It’s time for some better TT news!

Cancelling TTs is always pants, but be reassured that your local friendly neighbourhood TT team are working hard to make sure races are coming thick and fast.

Like many clubs, roadworks have impacted our TTs this year, and we are swapping our June 25 TTs for this reason.

  • The 1 June 25TT will now be on the Kibworth course, with the first rider off at 8 am
  • The 15 June 25TT will (hopefully) now be on the new Walcote course, with the first rider off at 9 am.  If the roadworks issues persist, we would seek to revert to Kibworth for this TT too (other possible roadworks notwithstanding).

Our friends at Rockingham Forest Wheelers are still working through the issues caused by the speed limit change on their Valley 25 course.  This means that the 15 June TT will also be the Interclub with Rocko and Kettering CC.

And in super-duper news, there will be an extra 10 on Tuesday 1 July at Kibworth to fill the gap, 730 PM HQ TBC.  Happy days!

As the season progresses, there is plenty more to look forward to!

  • The 2025 George Halls Cycle Centre TT Leagues will be launched in the next couple of weeks.
  • Look out for more announcements on the ‘Round Robin’ 10-mile TT series, which kicks off on 12th July with a 10 hosted by Ratae RC. This is an exciting new collaboration with Ratae Road Club, Rockingham Forest Wheelers, Hinckley CRC and Leicester Forest Cycling Club designed to make sure there are regular racing opportunities throughout the summer months.
