Round Robin TT series 2025

Hinckley Cycle Racing ClubLeicester Forest Cycling ClubRatae Road ClubRockingham Forest Wheelers and Welland Valley Cycling Club are looking forward to welcoming riders to the inaugural  ‘Round Robin’ summer ten-mile TT series. Ratae RC were due to hold the first event on the Gilmorton course in 12th July, but the Bruntingthorpe badgers have made a mess on the course and this event will now happen in August (TBC).

The Round Robin is designed to provide weekly TT opportunities for local cyclists throughout the summer. Each club is running one or two events and then encouraging their members and others in the wider local cycling community to support the remainder. There will be individual and inter-club competitions.

These events will use traditional TT days of the week for each Club to fit in with established patterns (participating clubs run 10s on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays).

In addition to these events counting as qualifying rounds in club competitions, there will be Round Robin medals for the overall and women’s competition; and a club competition open to all:

  • For the overall and women’s competition, the best 6 scores from 9 events will count.  In each category the fastest rider scores 60, 2nd scores 55, 3rd 51, and then 48, 46, 44, 42, 40, 39, 38, etc.  In the event of a league table evens in a points tie the rider with the lowest overall time will win.
  • The Club competition will use the same scoring for the fastest 4 overall riders from each club for each round, plus the fastest female from each club.

Please note that events organised by Rockingham Forest Wheelers need to be entered via the CTT website, and WVCC via Sign Up Genius.
