Whizz Kids go Baltic

Chapeau to the thirteen Whizz Kids, all the parents and the helpers that made the trip to Welland Park on Saturday for our first skills session.

The forecast had promised cold and drizzly weather so we decided to just run some rapid fire handicap races on a dynamic course with Ali controlling the first of three optional routes, Kev ran the second option station and Ian ran an amazing, ever changing, cone section which kept every one on their toes.

The ground did cut up and get swampy fairly quickly so we kept the session a bit shorter than normal but needless to say all riders went home dirty!

A big thanks to all the parents who braved the conditions and to Kev, Ali and Ian for helping

See you all in a few weeks….bit warmer I hope!!!

Simon
