Like to be a Timekeeper?

You know those folk who stand at the side of the road with a stopwatch in their hand?  They are a vital part of racing and time trials and you couldn’t boast about your PB without them!

We are offering club members the opportunity to train up as timekeepers and are putting on a evening session to allow folks to understand what is required. The evening is expected to last no more than a couple of hours and will be run by fellow club member and British Cycling commissaire Andrew Weatherby.

There will then be the opportunity to put newly learnt skills into practise. At present the club does not have a pressing need of timekeepers, but we are  looking to the future. This means  you can get yourself trained up without committing yourself to active participation next season.

Venue: The Railway Arms, Kibworth Harcourt, LE8 0LN

Date: Tuesday 12th November

Time 7.30pm
