Pump up the volume

22 Whizz Kids rocked up for Saturday’s Pump track session based on the lumps and bumps at Welland Park. We normally split into a Seniors and Juniors group but this time I thought we would all work together, the older guys looking at technique whilst the youngers  building up confidence.

We started off very simply but changed the dynamics of the routes many times, each time increasing the difficulty until we threw in some jumps. We had a few spills but as Dan said “commit to the bit” I love saying it but no clue what he meant.

We finished up with my latest creation, Bike Scrabble which had the riders sprinting to collect letters which made up a word that the (responsible) grown up had.
