Spooktacular 100k Halloween Gravel Ride

What’s that we hear? There’re no Leicestershire Cyclocross League races on 29 October. Is your ‘cross bike looking at you expectantly and wagging its back wheel? Maybe your MTB has been looking at you accusingly as it’s feeling neglected? Perhaps your gravel bike needs the exercise?

Our spooktacular 100k Halloween gravel ride on Sunday 29th October will head out from Great Bowden at 8am (note the extra hour in bed from the time change the night before) . It’s going to be fangtastic. You might hear the creak of rusty hinges followed by heavy boot steps in the gravel – when we have to open gates. Fancy dress is optional.

Don’t be a lazy bones, trick or treat yourself.

See link for planned route (subject to change to ensure that it’s rideable after storm Babet)

This will be an unsupported club ride for WVCC members and friends from other local clubs. It is intended to be suitable for all off-road bikes from ‘cross bikes to gravel and mountain bikes.

Please let us know if you’re coming – ideally through our off-road WhatsApp group – so we can arrange additional ride groups by speed and bike type as appropriate. To be added to our off-road WhatsApp group please message Adrian Killworth or email your mobile number to offroad@wellandvalleycc.co.uk
