Cambridge CC TT
Jen Clegg, Gary Ashwell and Jonathan Durnin rode the Cambridge CC (ECCA Championships) 25 mile TT on Sunday, at the F2A/25 course near Cambourne. It was a very strong field, and really well organised event.
Cambourne is a fast course (out and back twice), and there was a light tailwind out, and headwind back. Conditions were however very hot and sticky, with temperatures getting into the late 20s Celsius.
Jen set a distance PB, set a national age record for a 25, and was fastest woman when times were age adjusted. Gary also set a distance PB for a 25, and Jon missed out on a PB by 4 seconds.
