A A Brown Kermesse Report

All credit to Phil Rayner and the enormous team that made this race run like clockwork. Thank you to everyone who helped for all their hard work and well done to the riders who raced on such a hot day. 
59 riders started this race promoted today by Welland Valley Cycling Club at Walton Leicestershire. The riders rode 14 laps of a 4.3km loop  at a such a pace that racers were dropped off the back right from the start.
The very fast average speed of   27mph (43km/hr) average , resulted in a group of just 27 riders sprinting for the victory.

Richard Kendrick was not only the first WVCC rider to finish but also the best placed category 4 rider. Congratulations!
