Whizz Kids pre-Christmas presentation and party

Good evening Whizz Kids! There is no session this week and we have just one session this month and it’s the pre-Christmas bash on Saturday December 10th, so get this in the diary.

It’s the first time since 2019 we’ve had the party and we’ll continue where we left off with the years only cycle-free session. If you have scooters bring this along, we’ll use these as part of the afternoon for a bit of fun. If you haven’t got a scooter come along anyway, you can borrow one, just no cycles. Part of the afternoon will be a bit of fun and the other part of the afternoon will be the presentation for the Whizz Kids racing League (supported by Alden’s Electrical) and the Roadrunner summer series at Bruntingthorpe and we have a selection of prizes to hand out for both of these series.

For those parents who have been asking me about new Whizz Kids jerseys these have now arrived and will be on sale at the event too. We have also been given a selection of clothing from former Whizz Kids and it’ll be the ideal opportunity to pick up some clothing, and you can contribute to the kit swap as well by bringing any pre-loved kit.

Now there’s quite a bit to sort out on the day so I’ll be looking for some help on the afternoon, if you’re free please let me know how you can help.

Finally, we will be indoors at the Whittle Room at Bruntingthorpe thanks to Cox Automotive, the session starts at 2pm on Saturday 10th December and the afternoon will last about 90 minutes.  Goes without saying that we would love to see as many of you as possible at the “do”.  Meantime if you need any spares or anything cycling related before Christmas don’t forget to drop down and see Neil at George Halls Cycle Centre.
