LCXL Round 1 Volunteers

There are still a number of volunteer places to fill for round 1 of the Leicestershire Cyclocross League at Marston Lodge on Sunday 11 September. If you haven’t yet done your volunteering slot this is a good opportunity, but even if you have it’s a great chance to spend some time in a spectacular setting that wouldn’t be out of place in the Lake District and to see the giant redwoods and some fantastic racing.

If you’re not available for a full marshalling slot but would still like to help out and spend some time in the beautiful forest surroundings at Marston Lodge  please message Kevin Mills, leave a message on the Mudlarks WhatsApp group or send an email to offroad@wellandvalleycc.co.uk.

If you’re racing in one of the men’s races in the afternoon the new timetable incorporating a separate women’s race enables you to volunteer in the morning – and maybe any women competing could marshal for the men’s races afterwards. We also ask anyone who is able to stick around helps dismantle the course. This usually doesn’t take too long if we have a few people helping.
