David Clarke

After riding with the chain gang last Thursday David had a fall/accident in Market Harborough.

A passing motorist came to his aid and concerned by his appearance promptly called an Ambulance. Whilst being treated by the paramedics, David suffered a cardiac event and briefly lost consciousness. He was taken to Hospital for tests, observation and treatment for a hand fracture – returning home the next day.

David would like to express his gratitude to Nicky Thomas and her husband Nick, whose intervention and early decision to call an Ambulance ensured he had the care he needed at exactly the right time – potentially preventing a much worse outcome.

He would also like to thank the Ambulance paramedics and the Kettering General Hospital nursing team for their diligent care.  Welland Valley CC echoes  David’s gratitude and thanks.
