Whizz Kids report

Good evening Whizz Kids! Well, that was a glorious afternoon of super skillage for our session today where the focus was on starting and sprinting. With a good quota of riders signed up we worked in three separate groups and on four areas on the park. With Simon and Ben assisted by Ian working with the older multi-speed riders and Kevin with the single speeders and balance bikes we used the park facilities well. The older riders had the oval plus two different sprint zones while the single speeders stayed on the tarmac and finished on the Santa Wellanda drag strip for some straight line action. We finished off the session with a Circle of Doom and after a steady start we came down to the final five and the best finish ever with all five riders stopping at the same time and all falling within milliseconds of each other. Using our VAR we determined that the last rider to hit the grass was Mea by 0.02 seconds.
