With Christmas over the new racing season is now not much more than a couple of months away.
It seems likely that quite a number of members will be interested in bunch racing this year, some for the first time, and the time seems right to focus our training.
To that end the club is planning to organise some training sessions on Saturday mornings through January and February. The sessions will be aimed at members who might want to take part in road racing, but will be appropriate for anyone wanting to take part in structured road based training with a degree of intensity.
Sessions will be designed by Phil Rayner and led by Phil and Nick Clarke (with other ride leaders as needed). We will meet on Saturday Mornings at 0930 in Church Langton and continue until around 1100. We will start on Saturday 15th Jan. We don’t need people to make any ongoing commitment but would appreciate it if you let Nick know before each session if you intend to come. This will help with organisation.
The intention of the sessions will be to build some fitness, develop group riding skills, motivate and develop some camaraderie.
If you have any questions please contact Phil Rayner or Nick Clarke.
