Volunteers Still Needed for Round 6 of the LCXL at Misterton on 16 January

We don’t yet have enough marshals and helpers signed up to be able to run the final round of the Leicestershire Cyclocross League at Misterston on Sunday 16 January. Please sign up if you’re able to help. We are particularly short in the afternoon.

This will be a good opportunity to be involved in one of our club’s largest events, experiencing the buzz of cyclocross in the beautiful surroundings of Misterton Hall. All helpers will also receive a free drink from our caterers for each session. Anyone doing both morning and afternoon will also get a lunch voucher.

Please go to https://www.signupgenius.com/go/5080a4ca8ab2aa5f94-volunteer2 to sign up.

We are planning to build the course on Saturday 15 January, so if you’re available and you’d like to spend some time in the open air please message our Mudlarks WhatsApp Group or Kevin Mills or Adrian Killworth or send an email to offroad@wellandvalleycc.co.uk. If you can only spare a couple of hours that would still be helpful. Maybe bring your bike to ride the course once it’s ready.

Also we ask that anyone racing on the afternoon on the day who is able to stick around helps dismantle the course. This usually doesn’t take too long if we have a few people helping.
