Whizz Kids Saturday – Ride for Rosemary at Misterton
Good morning Whizz Kids, just a quick reminder that we have a session this Saturday that will tie-in with the club’s Ride for Rosemary event at Misterton Hall, near Lutterworth.
We will be using the cyclo-cross circuit for the Whizz Kids session starting at 2:00pm. Parents, if you fancy a go on the course afterwards, you can join in the main event starting at 4:00pm.
Ride (or Race) for Rosemary is a long standing fixture in the club calendar. This charity event celebrates the life of the late Rosemary Barnett, a hard working club member and raises money for Rosemary’s favourite charity; The Dogs Trust.
This is a predominantly social event, with an opportunity for moderate or steady paced led-rides of 20ish miles, or off road racing for all ages and abilities with a focus on skill and race-craft.
Following the cycling there will be a BBQ with a burger/hot dogs for all entrants. (Bring your own alcohol)
The Whizz Kids session is free however if you can offer a donation it would be appreciated.
The main event is
Ride or Race + BBQ £10 (£5 u18)
BBQ only (£5)
Pay cash on the day.
