A reminder to all Welland Valley CC members that you have just five days left to take advantage of the early-bird discount for membership renewal.
If you’ve already signed-up for 2020, then thank you for being so Moneysupermarket.
If you haven’t, then it’s time to fire up the Amstrad and get your name down for another year of fun and fabulousness on two wheels.
For seniors, the usual £15 re-joining fee is reduced to just £10. Bargain.
There are also reductions in all other age categories.
Members have until midnight on Saturday, February 29, to take advantage of the discounts.
So don’t delay; click here (https://wellandvalleycc.co.uk/about/new-members-join-us/) and save a £s towards that new n+1 bike you’ve been promising yourself.
(Also, do bear in mind that any rides in Club competitions do not count for points or awards if you are not a member at the time).

Save an event
An estimated 90 volunteering slots are still vacant on Sign Up Genius – putting future club events at risk of cancellation.
Thanks to all those who have already stepped up; but if you haven’t, then now’s the time for action.
In particular, more volunteers are needed to support the club’s NCRA Handicapped Road Race on Sunday, March 8.
Club members are reminded that it is a condition of membership that you must volunteer once during the season – and twice if you are a regular competitor in any discipline.
Those members who have been unable to book a slot before the end of March will be allocated one. So please click here (https://wellandvalleycc.co.uk/marshaling-rota/) and pick a date before we send the boys round.
Save a red face
Avoid time trial embarrassment this season by remembering to display a working red light on your TT or road bike. No light, no ride, is the new CTT rule.
So, check that battery / bulb ahead of Saturday’s 5 mile opener at Medbourne.
