Volunteers still needed for Misterton

Misterton Madness, Round 3 of the Leicestershire Cyclocross League – one of Welland Valley’s biggest events of the year – takes place in 10 days time. It’s an amazing event with hundreds of competitors from across the region descending on Misterton Hall, near Lutterworth.

We’re still after some volunteers to do either the AM shift or PM stints on Sunday, October 27.

If you can help, please contact Dean Barnett (deanbarnettuk@yahoo.com), and sign up on Sign Up Genius (https://wellandvalleycc.co.uk/marshaling-rota/)

Note that SignUp Genius only covers the formal WVCC marshalling rota slots of 9 – 12.15 or 12.15 – 3.30, so please don’t log a slot if you’re unable to help for the full period specified. It also doesn’t cover the full level of help needed to run the event successfully. Please let Dean know directly if you’re able to help outside of these times.

In addition to the formal marshalling slots, it also would be appreciated if you could assist beforehand or afterwards if you’re racing. Help will be needed at the end of the day dismantling the course.
