Signing up for your fair share (members please read)

A notable number of club members have still not signed-up for any (or their fair share) of volunteering duties for 2019.

All active adult members are expected to do one volunteering turn per year, and all racing members are expected to do two

So whether you’re a road, ‘cross, TT or MTB racer, please note that racing = racing. That means it doesn’t matter if you’ve not raced any WVCC events, but have competed elsewhere. Our WVCC promotions ensure our members are welcome at events promoted by others.

But don’t worry – you still have the chance to do your fair share of turns at the following events:

  • LCXL Round 3 at Misterton Hall (promoted by WVCC) on 27 October 2019
  • Boxing Day 10 TT at Lubenham on 26 December 2019
  • Welland Valley CC Reliability Ride on 26 January 2020 (new date)
  • LCXL Round 9 at Marston Lodge (promoted by WVCC) on 9 February 2020

Click here to go to Sign Up Genius now to sign up to these events:

We have as far as possible included turns not entered onto Sign Up Genius. If you are not sure how many turns you have done, please contact John Welsford (membership@wellandvalleycc.co.uk) for clarification.

Those members who have not completed or signed up for their fair share of turns by October 18th will be contacted directly by a Committee member.

Jon Durnin.
