Whizz Kids Returns

Whizz Kids returned to action at Welland Park this afternoon after our summer recess and please to see a good turnout of riders keen to stretch their legs and to polish their skills. Apart from a couple of very brief insignificant showers the worst the riders had to contend with weatherwise was a bit of a 40mph breeze. Whizz Kids split into two groups with Ian and Wayne looking after the multi speeders on the grass and Kevin taking care of the single speeders on the tarmac paths. The key skills worked on were cornering, braking, gears (where appropriate) and hopefully listening.
Thanks to Ian & Wayne for helping today, and to the parents who in my group who support for your support, a fair few of us got plenty of steps in today.
It was good to welcome Drew to the multi speeders and Ethan who showed great skillage well beyond his 2½ years! Welcome to Whizz Kids.

That’s it for now, don’t forget that we have Roadrunner XXV on Wednesday night at Leicester Airport if you’re interested. See you soon!
