TT Report: Hot and bothered!

39 riders took to the start line for the club’s fourth TT of the season on the Kibworth course. It was a muggy night, but yet again many riders recorded season and overall PBs.

Quickest club rider (and overall) was Tim Smith, with a 20:58. He was followed home by James Lowe (22:04), and Martin Webster, recording 22:05 for his first TT in a year (and perhaps even two).

Fastest lady was Linda Hubbard in 25:19; followed by Maria Senior with 26.32. Fastest on a road bike was Jason Williams with 22:26.

Michael Burke might not be getting much sleep recently, but this did not stop him smashing under the 23 minute barrier on a road bike for the first time with 22:37.

Chris Dunkley got under 30 minutes for the first time, and Will and Trevor Wise stopped the clock at 28:58 on their tandem.

Guest rider Simon Price (Para T) recorded a rapid 21:41.

Well done all.

Big thanks to the marshals (Dave, Helen, Charlie, Mark and Austin), George, Pauline and Dave for timekeeping and signing on, and Angela for the tea and cakes (not forgetting able assistant Dom).
