There’s just six weeks to go to the Macmillan Harborough Sportive – and we’d love you to be there, riding in one of the club’s biggest events of the year.
Entries are now open; and there’s a choice of two stunning Bill Barrie-designed road bike routes (100k and 60k), two challenging off-road tracks (60k and 30k) courtesy of Dean Barnett, and a 10k family ride.
Saturday, May 19, is the date for your diary; and the event HQ is the Langton Brewery, near Thorpe Langton.
This will be the second year Welland Valley has teamed up with Macmillan for the sportive.
Last year’s event attracted more than 200 riders and raised a staggering £10,000 for the charity’s work in and around Leicestershire.
Entry is just £25, with ALL profits going to Macmillan.
So, apart from an amazing day out and helping to fund care for local cancer patients, what else do you get for your money?
* Well-stocked feed stations
* Clear route signage
* A finisher’s medal
* Rider goody bag
* A FREE BEER (yes, really. Or soft drink alternative) at the finish
What more could you ask.
So please support and sign up right now (and get your mates to do the same) at the club website or by visiting https://wellandvalleycc.co.uk/…/macmillan-harborough-sport…/
