This year’s Welland Valley CC sportive, in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support, is to be held on Saturday 19th May and promises to be even bigger and better than last year’s event.
There are 5 great routes on offer this year – 3 routes on the road and for the first time this year, we’re proud to be offering 2 routes off-road!
- Road routes: 100km, 60km & 10km family ride
- Off-road routes: 60km and 30km
With the exception of the 10km family ride, the entry cost is £25 when booked in advance, or £30 on the day. The family ride costs £10 per family group, with a suggested £50 sponsorship target. All proceeds go to Macmillan Cancer Support.
What you’ll get for your entry fee:
- Electronic timing
- Feed stations on the routes
- Finisher’s medal
- A ‘broom wagon’ vehicle will be on patrol for any technical support or transport
- Free beer from the Langton Brewery at the finish (or a soft drink if you prefer)
- Rider goody bag
This is the 5th Macmillan Harborough Sportive, organised by Welland Valley Cycling Club with the assistance of many volunteers and generous sponsors.
Our aim is twofold; firstly to raise funds for the amazing work done by Macmillan Cancer Support and secondly, to encourage cycling for all abilities and ages.
