Wrapping up the Round Robin TT Series

Wednesday saw the final round of the  2026 ‘Round Robin’ TT Series, with a cracking 10 on the Caldecott course hosted by Rockingham Forest Wheelers (click here for the results).  Thanks to Phil and the Rocko for a tip top night.

The Round Robin was designed to provide weekly TT opportunities for local cyclists throughout the summer, with first and second claim members scoring points for their clubs.

Hinckley CRC, Kettering CC, Leicester Forest CC, Ratae RC, Rockingham Forest Wheelers and Welland Valley CC each ran  two events and then encouraged their members and others in the wider local cycling community to support the remainder.  The events used traditional TT days of the week for each Club to fit in with established patterns (participating clubs run 10s on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays).

115 riders have participated in the series in total, with lots of great performances and super events.  A big thank you to all the clubs and their volunteers for making these events, and the series, happen.

Thanks to Mike Ives for a brilliant results and standings service.

The six clubs are looking to learn from the first year, and begin thinking about the 2027 Round Robin series soon. If you have any feedback please  get in touch with Jonathan Durnin (WVCC) or Phil Wilkinson (RFW).
