Whizz Kids at Northampton Bike Park

Hi Whizz Kids, we are back in action this Saturday, 22^nd August , and as Simon is unavailable this week we are going to meet up at the Northampton Bike Park for a family off-road experience.  Please have a read through the Bike Park website  https://northamptonbikepark.org/ for an introduction and general information on parking and usage.  One of the site rules is that riders under 15 need to be supervised by a responsible adult, and as the coaches are likely to be spread around the site it’ll be up to the parents to be the responsible adults and also decide which routes the riders can, or cannot, tackle.  There are plenty of trails to have a go at and we’ll working mainly on the Green and Blue routes, the Red and Black routes are for experienced riders only. There is a skills area which would suit some of the younger riders and help getting confidence to run the various downhills.  As usual we’ll be meeting from around 1:30pm and it’s worth checking that you have the Poppay Plus App to pay for parking before you set out, the signal can be variable from the carpark, full details on the parking are within the website.

Parents are encouraged to ride as well, the coaches won’t be able to supervise everyone all the time, so check all the Bikes and helmets,  bring your drinks and snacks and we’ll see you for some informal fun on the trails.
