Hot Wheels!

Hi all,

When, in January, we nearly had to call our Whizz Kids session off due to sleet and the cold, would I ever had thought we would have had to consider abandoning due to it being too hot. Yet on Friday, at 36c it was looking that way.

The met office forecast did lower to 30c for Saturday, so I decided to push on with the latest round of the Alden Electrical racing league with some added warm weather protocols in play.

With  Ian dressed in a fetching bucket hat, and the HQ  under the shade of the trees we raced, rested and drank before repeating.

As it moved towards mid afternoon the sun shone out again and pushed the temperature higher so we kept it to 4 races and a relay to finish.
