It’s a little bit special – introducing the Centenary Jersey

Today it is exactly 99 years since the formation of ‘Welland Valley Wheelers’.

In 2027, Welland Valley Cycling Club celebrates its centenary with a range of projects and activities.

These will include a Centenary Party and Sportive, a Centenary Medal,  rides and races, a revised and updated Club history and exhibition, more detail to follow in the next few months.

Today the Club launches the Commemorative Centenary Jersey, a modern take on the first club jersey, designed by Mike Smith and being produced by Vanelli Custom Sports Wear.  This jersey, in the original club colours of black and gold, featuring the design sported by Jack Granger, will be available to order soon, ready for Christmas.
