John Timms

Many of our members will be saddened to learn of the death of John Timms. We are grateful to Eugene Kertzman, his son in law for letting us know and providing the information below.

John was a former member of Welland Valley Cycling club  from Harrington. He died on the 11th April  at the age of 90 . John was a keen time-trialist with Welland Valley in his time and continued his love of bikes  to the end. He loved classic bikes and has quite a number of them in his garage. He carried on riding his e-bike up to very recently. The funeral is on the 6th May at 12:30 at Harrington Church. Cycling attire and riding a bike to church are encouraged!
