Welland Valley Winners

Today was the 4th (?) in the NCRA spring handicap series of races. This one almost didn’t go ahead due to a shortage of accredited marshals and the race HQ had to move too but it all worked out in the end. 

There were five groups on the road with the fastest setting out 10 minutes after the front group. As a marshal, you always get an interesting view of the race and and  I thought that Chris Dainty’s WhatsApp post deserved a wider audience…..

Great show from Welland Valley at today’s NCRA race. Yellow jersey’s everywhere………….. including the top step of the podium; with James Moore taking the honours with yet another well timed sprint.

Shout out to Jack Shewring for starting in group four yet placing sixth in only his second outing on the pan flat, beautifully surfaced Old course. (plenty of sarcasm there about the conditions-Ed)
