Whizz Kids Easter(ish) egg hunt
Hi Whizz Kids, hope you’ve enjoyed the Easter holiday. I just want to remind you that we’re back in action on Saturday afternoon, 11th April and this time it’s a family event at Misterton Hall, near Lutterworth. Hidden around the grounds of Misterton Hall will be several checkpoints that you will have to locate. Some will be easy to find; some may not be. Parents and others are encouraged to join in the hunt, either with your riders, or by being competitive and trying to beat the youngsters. Parents are welcome to ride, run, scoot or walk the course and the hunt will be for about 45 minutes, which will then allow us time to collate the scores and see who reigns supreme with the most (all?) checkpoints found. There will also be some seasonal prizes or giveaways to all riders.
We have access to the grounds of Misterton Hall thanks to the generosity of Mrs Craven, and if you haven’t been before it’s on the A4304 about 600m east of the M1 Junction 20, What3Words for the entrance is ///grub.calculating.happening, and there will be signs out on the road. Please park on the driveway and please avoid riding bikes or walking on the on the lawns in front and behind the house. Meetup is from 1:45 ahead of a briefing at 2:00pm ready for the chase to begin.
Booking is now open so registered riders please check your mailbox and/or WhatsApp for the booking link, Don’t forget your bike, helmet and drinks and hopefully we’ll see you on Saturday afternoon.
