What else do you need to know?

  • It’s going to be fun!
  • A very quiet rural course: great for beginners  â€“ a course where pace judgment is essential – the start is fast then the road rises and falls until the turn at Welham.
  • This course has a right turn in Welham which needs some care. (Go to the left of the cone in events or be disqualified!).
  • Be aware as you pass the Wheel and Compass pub in Weston By Welland of traffic entering/exiting the car park and take care at the left turn at the church
  • After turning onto Paynes Lane before Medbourne, the next turn towards Slawston is sharp and it is easy to end up on the wrong side of the road.
  • Care at the entry to Slawston.  Straight on to the finish  to the finish just shy of Tur Langton
