Volunteers Needed for Round 2 of the LCXL at Misterton on 19 October

We don’t yet have enough marshals and helpers signed up for round 2 of the Leicestershire Cyclocross League at Misterston on Sunday 19 October. We need one more marshal for the morning and several for the afternoon on the day itself as well as help with course set up on the morning on the day before and course prep on the Saturday morning before that.

Please sign up if you’re able to help on the link below:

If you haven’t yet done your volunteering slot for 2025 this is one of the last opportunities, but is also a chance to be involved in one of our clubs largest events. All helpers will also receive a drinks voucher per session + a lunch voucher for a full day stint for the race day.

We are planning to prepare the course on Saturday 11 October and do the final set up on the morning of Saturday 18 October so if you’re available and you’d like to spend some time in the open air in the beautiful surroundings of Misterton Hall please sign up. If you’re unable to commit to a full session but would still like to help please message our Mudlarks WhatsApp Group or Kevin Mills or Adrian Killworth or send an email to offroad@wellandvalleycc.co.uk.

Also we ask that anyone racing in the afternoon who is able to stick around helps dismantle the course. This usually doesn’t take too long if we have a few people helping.
