Whizz Kids Family Ride at Fineshades

Hi Whizz Kids, We are back in action next Saturday, 12 July and we are down on coaches so instead of a skills session we will be running a family event at Fineshade Wood, near Corby. Fineshade has a 5-mile green (novice) graded track but with several sections of slightly more challenging blue trails dotted around for the more experienced riders to try. It’s a family ride so parents and other significant olders are encouraged to join in too. There is a good visitor centre on site which served some very nice ice cream last time we were there and given the recent warm weather that may be welcome at the end. We’re aware it’s also the start of school holidays for some, so if you are not jetting off somewhere exotic then come and join us for a steady summer afternoon ride.
Fineshade Wood is located just off the A43 between Stamford and Corby. There are brown tourist signs leading up to the site from both directions. Sat Nav Postcode: NN17 3BB

Don’t forget your bike, helmet, drinks, sun protection and ice cream money, it might be a warm ride again and we’ll start the ride at 2:00pm. If you do miss the start we’ll be riding anticlockwise around the loop and you can catch up.
