Entry open for next week’s Kibworth 10 TT, plus racing opportunities this week

Entries are open for next week’s Kibworth 10 (27/5), so get yourself signed up now.

As this event is a course change (you might have heard Langtons = roadworks), for this event HQ is Church Langton Community Hall.  First rider off at 730pm, and we recommend using the Tur Langton to Kibworth road for riding out and back, make sure you leave enough time to get to the start.

It’s also another opportunity to enjoy tea and coffee, and of course Angela’s awesome cakes, have a chat and swap stories about the ride. Please can we all help with returning cups and plates to the kitchen, and a bit of help with the washing up would be greatly appreciated.

A fast A road course – a good introduction to the “out and back” style of  an open course with more significant traffic and somewhat busy roundabouts

To note in your recce: For reconnaissance purposes choose a quiet time – weekends or light evenings – which is when we run our events. At other times this road is very busy. Joining the A6 from the start layby in Kibworth Harcourt requires care and attention as do the “McDonalds” and Harborough roundabouts.

If you need a TT fix this wee, there are some great opportunities to race locally :

These are all great events, and WVCC riders are always warmly welcomed.
