Hans Up: It’s TT…tango time!

The hardy souls who rocked up at the start line at 8 am on a cold, bright Easter morning certainly earned their chocolate today for the first Kibworth 25 TT of 2025.

The talk of the HQ was of realistic expectations, after all it is still April, and the cold makes it harder to get the muscles warm and the heart rate up, and riders faced cross winds to the second roundabout, and then a headwind out to Corby and a tailwind return.

All well and good, but Hans van Nierop was having none of it, lighting up the course in orange with a belter of a ride, clocking 58:22, the only rider under the hour 👏

Andy Poulton was second fastest with 1:01:07, another cracking ride, with Rocko’s Phil Wilkinson clocking 01:01:55.  Jen Clegg was fastest woman (1:09:39), and Jamie Kershaw was quickest on a road bike with a superb 1:02:22.
