Hans up! Another tip top day at the Ratae
Last Saturday Welland Valley CC testers enjoyed another great TT on the Gilmorton course hosted by our friends Ratae RC.
Again, a warm welcome greated riders at the HQ. Whilst it was warmer than last week, it was also slippery in places and the headwind on the long drag out of Walton remained in place.
WVCC’s Hans Van Nierop lit up the course recording 23:17, the fastest on the day -well done! Hans was followed by Oliver Searle (St Ives CC) at 23:26 and Tom Bradley (MI Racing) at 24:48.
It was Maciej Suchocki’s first taste of the circuit, and he stomped round with 24:50, good enough for fourth under the watchful eye of Coach Ward.

For the third week, WVCC riders were support by Club President George, cheering us on at the Pavilion and again at the ‘Col de Mill Farm’.
