A TT teaser……Introducing the summer ‘Round Robin’ series

Ahead of the launch of the WVCC 2025 Club Championship (coming very very soon), there is something a bit different to look forward to this summer!

Hinckley Cycle Racing Club, Leicester Forest Cycling Club, Ratae Road Club, Rockingham Forest Wheelers and Welland Valley Cycling Club are coordinating a weekly nine TT round series for July and August 2025.

This ‘round robin’ summer ten-mile TT series is intended to  provide weekly TT opportunities for local cyclists throughout the summer.  Each club will run one or two events, and then encourage their members and others in the wider local cycling community to support the remainder.

Each Club can use these club events as qualifying rounds in their own competitions, as well as there being a series competition (the ‘Round Robin series’) open to all.

These events will use traditional TT days of the week for each Club to fit in with established patterns (participating clubs run 10s on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays), and whilst  may be subject to minor change, the current programme is set out below:

• Ratae Road Club, 11 am, Saturday July 12, on the Gilmorton course
• Rockingham Forest Wheelers, 7pm, Wednesday July 16, course TBC
• Welland Valley Cycling Club, 7pm, Tuesday 22, on the Lubenham course
• Ratae Road Club, 11 am, Saturday 26th July, on the Gilmorton course
• Rockingham Forest Wheelers, 7pm, Wednesday July 30, course TBC
• Welland Valley Cycling Club, 7pm, Tuesday August 5, on the Lubenham course
• Hinckley Cycle Racing Club, 7pm, Tuesday August 12, on the Wolvey course
• Leicester Forest Cycling Club, 7pm, Tuesday 19 August, event TBC
• Hinckley Cycle Racing Club, 7pm, Tuesday 26 August, on the Wolvey course
