Mountains of Fun

For our latest event in the Alden Electric Racing League we all met at Foxton Locks for one of the toughest events of the year- the hill climb. We have used the bridle way from locks to village for a few years now and believe me it’s a tough challenge.

8 Whizz  Kids, two parents and one coach (me)  took up the challenge, racing the first wooded technical section, the deceiving mid point descent then the brutally steep last few meters and a throw for the line.

A great effort by all the kids but legend status goes to Opal who chose this event to be her first outing – it does get easier Opal!

Big thanks to Kev, Ian for time keeping and our new helper Noah who has just started on his Duke of Edinburgh path. A shout to the parents for supporting as well.

Next event is at the park with details to follow.
