Is this the hardest TT of the year? Farndon 5 and a bit, Sunday 30th June, 9am

In the words of Thomas Hobbes, the Farndon 5.4 hardride is “nasty, brutish and (mercifully) short”.

Starting on the edge of Market Harborough the ride heads towards Naseby, climbing to East Farndon, meandering up and down before the final slog past the battlefield viewpoint to finish at the Cromwell monument,  just shy of Naseby.

It’s a bijou beast  – and of course you should test yourself against it and then regale your uninterested family, friends and neighbours with long tales of your brief heroism….

Online sign-on will be open until Friday at 6pm and can be found here.

Copies of the Risk Assessment will be available at the HQ.

**Please note the race HQ will be Clipston Recreation Ground Pavillion – approx 3 (lumpy!) miles from the start.

How to get to the HQ

If you’re coming from Harborough, then enter Clipston, pass the Bulls Head pub, turn left into HIgh Street, bear left past the church onto Church Lane and the Recreation Ground is on your left as you exit the village.

Sign on/number collection from 8.15am . Please allow enough time to ride to the start.

Card payment only, on the day (Members £5, Non-Members £6.)

Front and rear lights and hard shell helmets are mandated by CTT.

Under 18 riders will require a parental consent form for type B events, to be found on the CTT website. Please send to ttsec@wellandvalleycc.co.uk
