Colder, greyer, even more miserable fun….

26 male and 9 female riders took part in Tuesday’s second Langtons 10, no doubt thinking in darkness and  driving rain that this year’s  previous effort on this course had, on reflection, taken place in near tropical conditions by comparison.

Gary Roberts edged Jason Williams for the men’s prize, with Linda Hubbard as fastest club woman (though second claim Harriet Evans was quickest on the night.)

The Kershaw family secured fastest roadbike and and fastest junior through Nik and Jamie repectively – and Milly Pinnock took fastest female in the roadbike category.

Thanks as ever to the timekeepers, marshalls and, of course, Angela  – and congratulations to everyone who left the warm sofa behind to push themselves on through the rain and gloom. A great effort!

Don’t forget – there is still time to sign up online here for Sunday’s Kibworth 25. Warm, windless, dry float weather guaranteed.*
