Whizz Kids Egg hunt
OK Whizz Kids, hands up who have already eaten their Easter eggs? I think there might be a few of you. The chocolate eggs were the reward for finding the 14 “nests” hidden around Misterton Hall this afternoon each containing numbered cards, the Idea was to collect one card from each nest however some things went a little astray during the afternoon and scoring got a little out of sync. It didn’t matter as there were eggs for the 22 riders who turned out on a cool and blustery afternoon and at the end of the day we had a lot of happy riders, some tired parents too after running around making sure the younger riders got up the hills and found the nests.
Thanks today go to Simon and Sophie for taking the supporting role and helping me out and guiding the riders safely around, to Charlie for being gracious make sure all the younger riders got their eggs, and to Mrs Craven for the use of the grounds this afternoon.
Next session is in three weeks time on 13th April and we’re planning to be behind the Leisure Centre for some skills, hopefully a bit drier than last time. Details will follow nearer the time.
Have a great Easter and we’ll see you soon.
