Celebrating Welland Valley performances in the Leicestershire Cyclocross League

Now that the dust (…or mud) has settled it is a good time to celebrate some outstanding performances during the recently finished local cyclocross season. 

The Leicestershire Cyclocross League (LCXL) ran from September through to January, from the balmy sunshine of Marston Lodge and Weldon Part to the ‘character building’ conditions at the Regional Championships at Harborough Showground.

Firstly, a big thank you to all the organising clubs and volunteers that made the races happen, and the League’s dedicated committee.  These events were very well attended by racers and spectators, had great atmospheres, and were truly fun and family friendly. 

 Secondly, a shout out to the racers!  A number of the categories saw competitive performances and WVCC Champions! A big well done to our Champions Emilia Giles (U9 Girls), Mea Moore (U12 Girls), Eleanor Humphries (Senior Women), and Victor Barnett (V70+).
