The Interclub Hill Climb, you know you want to. Sunday 24th September.

Hopefully there will be a big turn out from Welland Valley CC.

Thanks to our friends at Kettering CC for organising this year’s event.

The competition is run jointly by Rockingham Forest Wheelers, Kettering CC and Welland Valley CC and is awarded to the club whose members score the highest number of points.

Points will be awarded to the fastest 21 riders, 21 points for 1st down to 1 point for 21st place.

Both first claim and second claim riders are eligible to score points for their respective clubs.

HQ is at  the Rockingham Forest Wheelers club house. You probably know where that is but just in case, here’s the address:  11 Ashley Rd, Middleton, LE16 8YP.

This year the course is different (NH11), a single 800m ascent of “The hill” at Middleton.

Some detail of the course below

The finish is before the lay-by/bus stop so that riders can use the lay-by to recover away from the road.

If you’re going to check the course out the actual finish will be adjacent to a small sign that’s on the left hand side of the road.

Refreshments  will include the usual tea, coffee, beer etc and  there’ll be Bacon Rolls available after the race.

Encouraging spectators are welcome!
