Whizz Kids at Ride for Rosemary

Good evening Whizz Kids, we’re back in action on Saturday and it’s a slightly more laid back session for al the family as we’ll be at Misterton in conjunction with the Rode for Rosemary event. This long standing fixture in the club calendar celebrates the life of the late Rosemary Barnett, a much loved and hardworking club member. It’s primarily a social event and it raises money for The Dogs Trust, Rosemary’s favourite charity.
Our afternoon starts at 2pm as normal although there are club rides going out earlier and later. Our session will incorporate a bit of skills/racing and (if I can find the kit) a trailquest around the estate and there will be involvement encouraged from all ages across the afternoon
The main club event will reconvene later and there will be a barbeque from 6pm (which has a charge). Although our session is free as usual there will be a collection box to the Dogs Trust should you wish to make a donation.
Misterton Hall which is just outside Lutterworth (LE17 4JP). If you’re coming along the A4304 from Harborough, it’s on the right hand side, just before the roundabout with the M1. There will be signs up so it’ll be hard to miss.
Details of the club event can be found at https://wellandvalleycc.co.uk/…/ride-for-rosemary-next…/
Don’t forget your Whizz Kids bike, family bikes, helmets and drinks, bring some snacks too if you like,
